Description

Delicious blueberry buns perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture, then mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead in the softened butter until smooth and elastic.
  5. Fold in the blueberries carefully.
  6. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Shape the dough into buns and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Ensure the milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the dough.
