Description

Delicious homemade brownies that are rich and fudgy.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
