Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the sugar and butter, then add the egg and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk and vanilla extract.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
