Description
A festive twist on traditional tiramisu using eggnog for a deliciously creamy dessert.

- 18 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- Brew and cool the espresso. Pour it into a shallow dish for dipping.
- In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggnog and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly into the cooled espresso. Layer them at the bottom of each glass or jar.
- Spoon a layer of the eggnog mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of espresso-dipped ladyfingers and another layer of cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust each cup with cocoa powder and a pinch of nutmeg.
Notes
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
- Adjust the level of sweetness by modifying the granulated sugar.
