- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously to combine with garlic butter. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted completely into the sauce. Season generously with black pepper.
- Add drained spaghetti to the sauce in the skillet and toss well until every noodle is coated.
Notes
- This dish is best served immediately while the sauce is creamy and fresh.
- Fresh parsley adds a nice touch of color and flavor, but is optional.
