Description
A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with a twist of fresh blackberries and balsamic vinegar.

- 8 slices Bread (Sourdough or your choice)
- 8 oz Cheese (Sharp cheddar or brie)
- 1 cup Blackberries (Fresh)
- 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Butter (Softened for spreading)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the blackberries and balsamic vinegar. Let sit for 5 minutes to marinate.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer cheese, marinated blackberries, and more cheese. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the other side is golden brown.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- This sandwich can be customized with different types of cheese or bread.
- Feel free to add herbs or spices to the blackberry mixture for extra flavor.
