Delicious chocolate cherry bars made with dark and white chocolate, perfect for a sweet treat!

- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, halved and patted dry
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang. Lightly grease it.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chunks, 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk, and 1 tablespoon butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into pan and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, melt white chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk and 1 tablespoon butter. Stir until smooth. Fold in halved cherries.
- Gently pour white chocolate cherry mixture over the chilled dark chocolate layer.
- While warm, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and lightly press them in.
- Chill for at least 3 hours or until firm.
- Remove from pan using parchment overhang and cut into squares with a sharp knife.
Notes
- Ensure cherries are patted dry to avoid excess moisture.
- For best results, chill the bars overnight before slicing.
