Description
Deliciously roasted cabbage steaks seasoned with garlic and smoked paprika, topped with Parmesan and parsley.
Ingredients

- 1 large green cabbage, cut into 1-inch thick slices
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place cabbage steaks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown and crispy.
- If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle over cabbage steaks in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
