Delicious white chocolate cinnamon crackers that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (Ensure they’re Halal-compliant)
- 1/4 cup additional granulated sugar for topping
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until combined. The dough should be thick yet pliable.
- Take small portions of the dough and flatten them into cracker shapes on your prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
- While the crackers are baking, mix the additional granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Once the crackers are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately dust them with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Use a fork to drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cooled crackers, allowing it to set.
- Let the crackers cool completely to allow the chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
- Store the crackers in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
- For a stronger cinnamon flavor, feel free to add an extra 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon to the dough.
